Dr. Oliver's explanation of the injection we were testing to address cancer-related ED was thorough and reassuring. However my reaction to it (and the usual dose) was unexpected, giving me an erection for nearly three hours. Medication to reverse it didn't work as expected, forcing Dr. Oliver to a 'take down', meaning removal, my needle, of the blood from my penis. In the process of doing so, the tray with removed blood was spilled, saturating my underwear and jeans. The entire experience was not as either one of us anticipated. Nonetheless, throughout the experience, Dr. Oliver continued to check on me, explaining next steps, and apologizing for the experience.
