Bio

Dr. Unger received her undergraduate education at the University of California, San Diego and her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. After completing post-graduate training in pediatrics at the University of Utah, she was selected to serve as chief resident for the 2013-2014 academic year. In this position, Dr. Unger will serve as a liaison between the pediatric residents and hospital administration. She is intimately involved in resident education and residency program development and recruitment. Dr. Unger is also a Visiting Instructor in the Division of Inpatient Medicine at Primary Children’s Medical Center. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, general health and nutrition, and developmental pediatrics.
