Sonja Raaum, MD is an Associate Professor and Hospitalist with the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah Hospital. As an internist, her research interests include the integration of social determinants of health into acute care, as well as how to train competent and compassionate physicians. She is the course director for Advanced Internal Medicine in the School of Medicine and an associate program director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Raaum received her M.D. from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She received training in internal medicine from the University of Utah. She is currently a Fellow in the American College of Physicians and a member of the Society for General Internal Medicine.
