Please refer to my first comment. Dr. Bryan R. Silon is all of the above. Very personable and conscientious of my health situation. He does what is needful after thought and study. I am grateful for his knowledge and care. I trust him to figure out what I need, contact those who can help and stay in contact with me as to how I am doing. Dr. Silon is really good at listening to your concerns and addressing them in a way that is easy to understand. He took the time and asked thorough questions to get a complete case history. Then, he laid out all of my options and went through each of them, making sure I understood. I felt that I was very well taken care of and feel comfortable continuing care with him.

Dr. Silon showed a severe lack of empathy. He seemed distant and cold, as if he were reciting passages he had memorized but didn't find very interesting. While he did list options about how to proceed with my care and left the decision up to me, he did not provide clear explanations about the ramifications of the decision.
