  • Emily Miro, MD, MPH is currently a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellow at the University of Utah. Emily is originally from Wisconsin and received her MD and MPH from University of Arizona. She completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of Utah where she served as chief resident. Dr. Miro’s clinical interests include care of female athletes and LGBTQ+ athletes, Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport, diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures, exercise promotion, and injury prevention in athletes of all ages. She enjoys trail running, hiking, biking, and skiing with her husband, Paulo, and two pups.
