Aaron B. Skidmore, CRNA

Languages spoken: English
  • Aaron started his health care career as a nursing aid while obtaining his nursing degrees from Salt Lake Community College and the University of Utah. After receiving a registered nurse license, he had the privilege of caring for patients in the Burn Trauma ICU at the University of Utah. While there he was able to learn and understand the importance of pain control and sedation.

He attended anesthesia school at Kaiser Permanente in Pasadena, California. After completing post graduate school he took jobs in Virginia, Nevada and Idaho before settling back in Utah. He has been able to work in small community hospitals, surgery centers, Airforce hospitals and now a large academic hospital system. The variety has given me an opportunity to see a wide range of patients and care modules.

Aaron has five children with his wonderful wife. He enjoys snow skiing and playing in the many lakes here in Utah. You can find him running on the trails most weekends year round. My favorite trail run may be the Alta Brighton Loop in the summer when the wild flowers are blooming and the moose are wandering.
