After coming into my room 31 minutes after the MA had left, she said "what can I do for you?" I told her to tell me my blood work results. Amanda Madrid, PA said to me "didn't you get my message in MyChart?" as if I am to treat myself by her notes. My 8am visit was to discuss blood test results and to ask about a possible blood clot in my leg calf. I wanted her to explain them & she only read them off & then said "is there anything else I can do for you? " She made me feel like I was bothering her, so I told her "nothing" and left. I will look for another primary care provider.

Appointment didn't feel very personable. You shouldn't question how a parent does something without understanding that there are more ways to do something and still be successful. Just because you observe something for 15 seconds and make an assumption doesn't mean it's not the correct technique. I feel a provider should be more of an advocate for empowering parents to make their own choices, rather than make a negative statement. When bottle feeding was specifically advised to be one way by a specialist. There's are more than one way to feed a baby with a bottle. Please be mindful that there are a lot of techniques out there and each baby or child is different.

I left unsure of what is happening with me . thank you for outsourcing what ever condition I may be going thru
felt rushed, wanted a better examination with blood tests, but was told would need to make another appt. again. I had trouble getting this appt and felt its difficult to be seen at this facilty when needed due to lack of appts available. For some reason- the focus was only on the rash and not the other symtoms I am having. Was able to schedule another appt in 2 weeks again to address my health issues again.

The last couple of time I've been in to see PA Madrid, I feel as if I'm annoying her and her staff for being there, and I walk out feeling "bad" that I'm sick and that I need medical care. I just don't feel a lot of empathy for what I'm going through. Rather just the opposite. It makes me sad that I feel this way, and maybe it's just because they're seeing so many patients that they don't have time to feel empathetic, but I usually end up feeling worse than when I initially walked in. =(

Without seeing my records or understanding my history this PA jumped to conclusions about how she was going to prescribe me. Didn't care about my last 10 years of history and record only was she's comfortable. She also said that it was university of Utah guidelines but then printed me out something online from another site. Not the policy of university of Utah. I'm looking for a practice that cares about the patients. Listens. This clinic didn't provide that. But I'm sure they knew what their book tells them.

I felt like I was an inconvenience. When discussed about my depression Amanda showed no compassion. I had to fight back my tears because I felt stupid for showing any emotion's. Thinking of looking for another provider because this isn't the first time I felt this way.
I'm extremely grateful for PA Amanda Madrid and the whole staff at the Stansbury location, they are always helpful and seem to care about you as a person
Dr. Madrid did amazing at listening to me, not making the appointment feel rushed, and really recognizing and offering advice for my concerns. I appreciated how friendly and easy it was to sit in my appointment with her!

our first appointment, we were late due to traffic and the dr was a bit abrupt and told us we would have to make a second appointment if we wanted to talk about more than one thing because she had a fall schedule. She mentioned to us a couple times that she was not a pediatrician just a family practitioner. Our second appointment she was very friendly and very knowledgeable and informative with what we were talking about. Maybe she was just frustrated during our first appointment because we messed her schedule up? I definitely like the way she talk to my 12-year-old daughter speaking with her on her level and informing her of the information that she needed to know.

Dr. Madrid seems very rushed and doesn't listen. It was like pulling teeth to get information about the meds she was prescribing me. her and the medical assistant were cold and came off as uncaring. the front desk staff was amazing though.

I have always loved U of U health clinics it was my first time at Stansbury clinic but truly was happy with it!
Dr. didn't know problem so she had labs taken and scheduled me for ultrasound.

The overall experience was positive.
I don't know if she was having a bad day or just didn't like me but I didn't feel that any of my concerns were heard she seemed stuck up and was not open to hearing anything I was saying. I will not return to her and I would not recommend her to anyone.
the call never happened I wait 20 mins looking at a klennex box and then my call drop and couldn't connect. I had to get back to work after 45 mins so it was a disaster
