Dr. McGinley received his medical degree from the Ohio State University School of Medicine, completed his Pediatric residency and Sleep Medicine fellowship at Tulane University, and his Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. He was on the faculty of Johns Hopkins University for 8 years. Dr. McGinley is board-certified in Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep medicine. He is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah and is in the Division of Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at Primary Children´s Medical Center. As the Medical Director of the Pediatric Sleep Program, his specific clinical interests are sleep disordered breathing in children, and difficulty with daytime sleepiness and inability to sleep during the night.

Dr. Mcginley always takes time to listen to everything that's happened/happening, answers any question or concerns we have, and offers options and recommendations while letting us decide what would work best for our son.

First appt with Dr. McGinley. Took time to explain things about sleep study results which was helpful to understand and to help us agree with treatment going forward.

Our Dr was incredibly supportive, was patient with my son constantly interrupting us, thoughtful in his responses and helpful with suggestions. I was blown away, the Dr was incredible. He set a new standard of care.
