Christine Ernat grew up in Hawaii. She started her nursing career working in the cardiothoracic ICU at UCLA. She then studied nurse anesthesia at the Kaiser Permanente program in Southern California. She has worked at multiple facilities since then including Kaiser Permanente Honolulu, Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN, and Vail Health Hospital and Vail surgery centers in Vail, Colorado while her husband was traveling with the military. She and her family moved to Utah in 2021 to settle down and Christine joined the University of Utah team in 2023. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three girls doing outdoor activities - especially riding bikes in the summer and skiing in the winter.
