Dr. Dries is wonderful and always leaves us feeling heard and that he has addressed all of our concerns and spent the necessary time to understand everything. He patiently addressed anything we brought up and, as a worry wart, I cant tell you how much that means to me. He is a fantastic doctor.

Dr. Dries has been wonderful to work with regarding an eye muscle issue my son is experiencing. Although we are currently waiting to see whether the condition improves on its own as he develops, I appreciate that Dr. Dries has the extensive expertise to perform surgery if needed to give him the best quality of life.

Bedside manner was less than pleasant. We drove over 2 hours for this appt and were made to feel like it was a waste of our time and his.

We have been taking 2 children to Dr. Dries for several years now and we will never change doctors. He's silly but respectful with my kids. He's always making sure I'm completely in the loop and that my kids are as well He welcomes my questions and considers my perspective as a parent. I feel like I'm always part of the process in determining treatment. He doesn't waste anyone's time, but I never feel rushed. I know my kids are the ultimate priority. And this last appointment I overheard him talking with a colleague about his passion for his job. This is who I want on my team.

Dr. Dries is and always has been amazing. He operated on our little girl when she was 4 months old. She's now a happy, healthy, and thriving 9 year old. when we first met Dr. Dries, we were first time parents, scared of our little baby needing surgery. Dr. Dries assured us she was in great hands. We love Dr. Dries!

My son has seen this doctor before. On this visit he seemed very different. I'm concerned my son did not get the thorough eye exam he needed; it took about seven (7) minutes. He asked my son to identify letters. My son doesn't know all his letters. When I tried to tell the doc, he silenced me. I'm considering finding a different pediatric ophthalmologist for a second opinion. Very sad experience.

This is a real doctor he's not just in it for the money.I got the impression that he really wants to help people and kids because it's what makes him happy too see them happy. I feel that he is the best in his field and I'm confident he will solve my problem with ease.

He has seen my son for 14 years i believe and thanks to him his glaucoma is under control, I'm so thankful for him.

This doctor has horrible communication skills. As soon as he came in the room he made a statement "your daughter failed the test but we know there isn't disease causing her sight issues." What was he talking about? What test? The pictures on the screen that he had just shown my daughter? I said "I am sorry I am confused, what test did she fail?" Apparently he was talking about the test at her regular pediatrician. It would have been great if he could have spoken in a complete sentence and make sense. He said the same phrase twice "thank you I couldn't do this without you." Which is totally ridiculous and something he apparently just says this to parents multiple times a day. I will not ever come back to to this doctor. After he left the room the nurse said "let me clarify what he said because I could tell there was some confusion." Why did I just make a special visit to this provider to have his nurse have to interpret what he was saying? Absolutely asinine.
