I have been seeing him for several years at the recommendation of my previous Moran Center Optometrist as well as another optometrist that is a close friend of mine and I am very glad to have found him. He patiently answers all of my questions and helped me decide on several issues with my contacts as well as discussing the pros and cons of having clear lens exchange surgery. He not only seems to be confident and knowledgeable but my interactions with him are very pleasant and informative. He has never been condescending or made me feel like he is talking down to me, something I have encountered too many times with other doctors.

And to make me feel so stupid, not very professional. It always seems like he has students do the bulk of the work and he checks a few things and moves on. I do t really love that.

I was very impressed with the way he was able to figure it out so quickly and am glad to have some direction to go for treatment now.

First pair didn't work well so changes were made. 2nd pair is good.Dr communicates, he's happy, I always leave feeling like he wants me to be more than satisfied.

I appreciate that he is doing a follow-up. The fair button was my choice until we work out what the problem is - should not be considered as a negative - waiting until we reach further evaluation.

My insurance pays very little for restasis & does not pay anything at all for the genetic brand, making it impossible for me to get the medication.

Dr. Meyers could have blames the problem on any number of circumstances or people. He didn't. Instead he was up front and explained the mistake. I appreciated that. Although they may not work for my eyes for reading. it would be nice to know if they would be an option for billiards because that is the reason I am looking into getting contacts. On my way out of the office I was told that they make progressive contacts I asked the doctor about it but he was way to busy with other patients. The contacts I did get will allow me to read an eye chart and are great for driving but they are not good for pool. I wish I would have had more time to talk to the doctor before a prescription was set. However my overall experience was good I dont feel as though I accomplished what I wanted from my appointment and may have to come back in to inquire about progressive contact lenses.

MORAN EYE CENTEROur appointment was very rushed and we were an inconvenience. No explanation of potential cost, which we were told by other staff should have been discussed by the doctor. Fridays they don't do Scleral contacts. The Moran Eye Center called us to set the appointment and we were referred by a Moran doctor at a prior appointment. They knew these contacts were a potential treatment plan at the time of scheduling. He left one contact in the eye with an assumption another staff member would train and or remove. Failed to confirm if that person was available. They were not. Waited in waiting area for 35 minutes with one lens and dye in (more problems there as well). This resulted in migraines, frustration and a poor experience. His staff, minus Stacey from the optical shop (incredibly unprofessional) did treat us kindly and with compassion. Before scheduling, make sure to confirm your treatment plan or you will be treated as an inconvenience and asked to make more appointments.

Overall I think that he's a nice man & does listen to your concerns. My only negative is that he steered me away from the plasma shot just due to insurance reasons. But if I went in for a different reason I'd give him an A Thank you Dr.Meyer
