Dr. Yaroshcuk is a great doctor. I've been seeing her for years. She listens, reviews your history & takes that into consideration when it comes to diagnoses or medications.

The physician was dismissive and interrupted me repeatedly. She spoke in a condescending manner to both my husband and me and expressed frustration that I had previously seen urgent care providers. I'm in between primary doctors. Two U of U Health staff recommended I go to this clinic for continued care for issues that were not improving. Dr. Yaroshchuk did not clearly explain the treatment plan. What was administered did not match what she described, and when we asked for clarification, she responded by scolding us rather than addressing the miscommunication. I did not feel listened to or respected.
I felt she took concern and interest in what was going on with me and wanted to help me get feeling better very good!
Don't go see her she's not very compassionate or caring I left her office and went home crying very tramatic experience.

I was able to get in to Dr. Yaroshchuk very quickly. She told me that I needed a Ultrasound. I was able to schedule one at Sugarhouse clinic the day. I received the results in less than two hours. Even though it after hours, Dr. Yaroschuk messaged me promptly and ordered an antibiotic prescription. It was a great experience.

Dr Y was AMAZING. She listened to each of my problems and explained things and was extremely helpful. She must have been crazy busy but you couldn't tell by the way she treated me. She didn't rush me at all. Was genuinely concerned with my problems. She answered all my questions and made sure I didn't have any more. She gave things to me straight, which I really appreciated. Honestly, I can't speak highly enough about Dr Y. I felt extremely careful for. I am so grateful to her.

When I asked her questions about the COVID vaccination, she answered me in a way that implied I should already know the answer or there wasn't a set reason, just do it. When I asked to see a nutritionist/dietician because I have gained much weight recently (11 lbs) in the last few weeks to a month and it's unusual for me. I know I'm not necessarily eating properly and I needed some help with that. She said just go home and cook meals that are baked not fried. This concerned me because I need more help than that. She said insurance would pay for it but...(can't remember what she said after that).l thought, if the insurance is going to pay for it, why not let me see a nutritionist or dietitian? I didn't get a referral for that. However, she did give me a referral to the dermatologist for the huge bump on my eye (thank you).

I had a difficult time communicating. After diagnosing me as having Diabetes 2, I left not knowing the name of the medicine she was prescribing for me. She told me I should use the Diabetes 2 diet, but gave me no material on it. I was left to go home and research the issue on my own. The medicine she prescribed never did come from my Pres. company.

The doctor was professional and gave one asuggestion of what might help me, but didn't explain why I may be having this problem. Her review of my lab didn't provide me with answers about why I'm having blood sugar drops and what to do to when I have them or to prevent them. I was disappointed.

Dr Yaroshchuck and her staff can just look at me and tell that I am having one of my "bad" days even if I am cracking my jokes and staying optimistic because that's my nature, she got me a wheelchair to my car because I truly needed one and should have done it to begin with but joked around saying I needed to get my steps in.

I recently saw a different provider in the clinic and was treated very poorly. I ended up scheduling with Dr. Yaroshchuck for follow up care and was treated with compassion and understanding. she was not patient and all was done pretty much within 10 minutes. When I asked her to explain to my husband on the phone in case I misunderstood anything, she was inpatient and showed unwillingness. What's worse, she told me she only had couple minutes left for lunch when I was not late for the appointment. I was so offened.
