She was concerned, but attentive and honest with her answers.
Always informative as well as able to reflect on my situation.
She listened, was encouraging in her comments and ver helpful.
Melissa is sensitive and kind, but also very insightful. She knows how to get the most out of our interactions by asking the right questions and helping us to come to much better solutions on our own. She is very, very good at what she does because she cares so much for her patients.
Melissa continues to be compassionate and extremely helpful in assisting me, a caregiver, to navigate decision-making regarding the challenges facing me.

I always look forward to meeting with Melissa because she skillfully guides me to deal and face my difficulties. Each time we meet my initial obstacle is easier for me to handle it. She instills in me the necessary hope and way to cope with adversity. At the end of each session, I fully understand ¿my homework assignment¿ and how to complete it successfully.
Melissa was kind and thoughtful in this first visit to discuss caregiver support. She created space for my sister, mom and I to each voice concerns and opportunities along the journey of dads dementia.

Melissa is a genuine insightful counselor. Since our first appointment she has helped me become a better caregiver for my wife. Not only that, she has helped me cope with the emotional struggles I face every day. Her recommendation for me to visit with Rebecca, psychiatrist was exactly what I needed. My visits with Melissa are always hopeful and beneficial. As time goes by, I feel more confidant in my self appointed role as a caregiver. A wonderful, knowledgeable, experienced and kind therapist who has a well rounded education of the world of Neuroscience! The only reason I would not recommend her is because she might become so overburden with those that need her special talents, that I would never be able to get in to see her any more!!! Yikes....
