First nurse Lena .. quickly obtained my vitals .. then asked .. why are you here? She encouraged me to explain in detail .. Then the urination test which we had never seen before to quickly ascertain my urine flow .. quite efficient .. Then Dr Ron who reviewed my symptoms, explained where I was with urination issues, examined by prostrate. Dr. Ron clearly drew pictures that enabled us to understand. Diagnosis .. come back in 1 year .. or sooner if needed.

The nurse pushed us along her only concern seemed to be that my elderly, vision impaired husband was taking to much time, and the doctor was "on a strict time schedule". After visiting with the doctor I don't think all our concerns were met. I will be seeking out a different provider.
I arrived worried and uncertain about my treatment options. Dr. Durtschi clearly explained the circumstances of my case which point toward my planned treatment, leaving me confident. I dont look forward to surgery but I no longer doubt that its the right thing to do.

Dr. Durtschi was courteous with me but talked more with other staff and did not explain the procedure or talk me through the steps as they were happening. I appreciated his caution and willingness to consult when things did not go as expected, but I could have used more explanation and reassurance at the time instead of after the consulting doctor arrived.
He is the first doctor I have seen for a 6 year problem who took the time to look into treatment options and my symptoms are much better because of his care. I am thankful I found him.

I had been dealing with a recurring urinary tract infection for several years and with several doctors and was getting very frustrated. The first time I visited Dr Durtschi and explained my problem he arranged for several test to identify what was causing this to happen and then prescribed a course of medication which has stopped the infection from occurring. I highly recommend him.

Dr.Durtschi introduced himself and was very pleasant . Before he did the procedure he explained it step by step and told me what he was doing throughout the procedure. After the stent removal he asked how I was feeling and said if I had any further questions to not hesitate to call the office.
So far so great and I do have to return for a surgery and his information and consideration as to who and what should be done was explained very well and very understandably.
Kinda disappointed if sterile procedures were not following seeing the coincidence of getting a UTI again two days later after my procedure!
