Being in healthcare for 49 years I have worked with and for many practitioners and very few demonstrate the type of care and concern that you do. You are a rare breed and i just hope you have the opportunity to teach and train our up and coming practitioners for they will be the ones caring for you in the future!!!

Dr. Teixeira came in and explained what he was going to, what he might have to do and what he felt I wouldn't need. He was very thorough and detailed in his explanation. The surgery went well and I should have a successful recovery.

Very professional.
Our 10 year old daughter had a traumatic injury with our treadmill and lost part of her thumb. We're very grateful that Dr. Teixeira was able to do such amazing work to save it using a kite flap procedure. Everything seems to be healing well and we feel very confident and cared for by him and his staff.

This appointment was for a follow up post ED visit. The doctor was asking me why the ED doctor and hand surgeon diagnosed me with what they did. He asked me why they put me on an antibiotic. He then excused himself from the exam room to go read my chart. He came back and told me, I dont have any answers for you. In a round about way, he more or less said that he doesnt know why they would diagnose me with what they did, but provided no further explanation or thoughts other than why it wasnt what I was diagnosed with in the ED. It seemed very dismissive and unprofessional to openly criticize why his colleagues diagnosed and treated me the way they did. I was much more impressed with his colleagues than him. He was very nice, but dismissive. I would not recommend him.
