Best Doctor at pcmc
I am one of his oldest patients and we have gone through multiple surgeries together. He and Dr. Patel have kept my vision for many years and I cannot pay them enough for giving me that gift.
My daughter is too old to go there now so they want to transfer her care. She has had complicated issues since birth so he knows her history and care since he has provided it. He says the new doctor can access her chart but he is the top doctor for her care that we trust. I dont know this other person and dont trust that they are as qualified to take over her care. But I wouldnt know where to start in finding another doctor that has the same qualifications and experience that he has plus my daughter has disabilities so it makes it tricky in her cooperating with someone new, change is hard for her.

Dr Hoffman was exceptional in the care provided as was/is his staff. I paste here what I sent to Dr. Hoffman's office the day following my medical procedure. 'Dr Hoffman: I'm happy to report that there has been marked improvement in my forward gaze. I would say I'm around 80% there right now. As I look hard left my vision is clean. I'm still a bit wobbly as I walk but am confident I'll have my sea legs before long. I'm comfortable and using the eye drops as directed. Thank you for your care particularly during our darning and mending efforts yesterday. It's been a long three year sojourn. We'll see you in a couple of weeks.'

Interactions with Dr Hoffman and very rushed and concise... I sometimes feel like I don't have time to compose a question before all is said and done. But I also trust him and do as we're told.

He came in and his bed side manners seemed very absent, he was vary arrogant and treated me like I am an idiot and treated me like I was wasting his time, it was Dr. Barlow who sent me to see him, it was not my idea.

The surgery Dr. Hoffman performed resulted in full recovery of my depth perception. That is a huge asset to my future safety É not to mention the improvement to my quality of life! Dr. Hoffman is personable, caring, courteous, and takes a genuine interest in others. I highly recommend Dr. Hoffman and all the medical staff associated with University of Utah Health. I would choose them above all other providers I have used in my lifetime.
Dr. Hoffman is excellent. He is experienced. He is consulted by many other providers when it comes to complicated strabismus procedures. He totally fixed my eyes and they are now straight. This change is life altering. Go see him!!
Our son has been seeing Dr. Hoffman since he was a baby. Hes now 18 years old, and weve never found anyone who could so quickly and accurately figure out his eyeglass prescription with a little dude is non-verbal and unable to follow commands. This practice is the best!
