She received her doctorate of nursing practice degree, specializing in acute care conditions in adults, from the University of Utah in 2022. She is board-certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and holds national certifications in oncology nursing. She is currently a post-graduate APC fellow for the Division of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah Hospital.
