A LASIK candidate:
- Should be between 21 and 50 years old
- Must not have certain systemic diseases, like lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, collagen vascular disorders, or uncontrolled diabetes
- Should be in generally good eye health
- Must not currently be pregnant or nursing
- No Accutane use within the past three months
