Participate In Our LASIK or PRK Studies

The John A. Moran Eye Center at University of Utah Health conducts studies for participants interested in vision correction surgery, specifically LASIK and photorefractive keratectomy (PRK). These studies allow patients to receive surgery at a discounted rate.

Current Study

Dry Eye Following LASIK vs. PRK Study

We are studying the difference in the incidence of chronic dry eye following treatment with two commonly performed forms of refractive surgery, PRK and LASIK. The clinical literature has shown variable results regarding the incidence of dry eyes following LASIK and PRK. Both procedures are routinely done as the standard of care. Both forms of treatment have shown excellent results in clinical trials for LASIK and PRK surgery.
