Each year, the John A. Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah and other hospitals across the nation ask their patients to rate their experience following an appointment.
Question topics administered by healthcare survey firm Press Ganey range from how well doctors communicate to whether their patients would recommend them—and Moran physicians consistently score in the 90th percentile.
Now, 16 Moran ophthalmologists and optometrists have earned top marks when compared with their peers, scoring in the top 10 percent nationwide for patient satisfaction in 2018. Press Ganey works with more than 33,000 health care facilities to survey patients.
