The John A. Moran Eye Center recently welcomed Deepika Bagga, OD, to its University of Utah and Midvalley clinics.
Bagga brings more than 33 years of experience in comprehensive optometry in the Delaware Valley of Pennsylvania to her practice at Moran.
“Moran is a perfect fit for me,” she said. “Over the past 14 years as a clinical optometrist for a small private practice in Chester County, Pennsylvania, I practiced primary care optometry and managed all kinds of patients with conditions ranging from diabetes to glaucoma. I am thrilled that patients can access every ophthalmic subspecialty at Moran.”
In addition to practicing comprehensive optometry, Bagga specializes in dry eye disease.
Bagga obtained a bachelor of science degree in biology from Saint Joseph’s University and her doctor of optometry from Salus University in Philadelphia.
In her free time, Bagga enjoys gardening, skiing, and reading historical fiction and murder mysteries.
“I feel so lucky to be here,” she said. “I’m enjoying the people, and with the extreme climate, dry eye is really an issue. I hope to make a difference in my practice.”
