Dr. Gross is an amazing surgeon. In choosing her for performing HOLEP prostate surgery, I searched extensively for a doctor with excellent qualifications. She was the best that I could find. In addition to her professional qualifications, I found that patient opinions of her were all excellent. She has a very positive and friendly personality. Most importantly, after over three months since the surgery, the results are excellent.

Dr. Gross and her staff always try the make the process from the first contact with the patient until the patient has healed. I had the HoLep surgery because of her long history of performing this procedure. I had virtually no pain throughout the surgery and post surgery. Her staff is excellent and do a great job in communicating and responding to questions that I had. The HoLep procedure was very successful for me.

I might just be taking this too personal but I didn't feel super important, almost like another number but I know she has so many other patients. I have had the good fortune to be a patient of Dr. Kelli Gross. I find it quite unique that as a doctor she is not only very good natured, listens well, and is very responsive to my concerns but also that she is highly trained and competent'both in urology and men's health. She is perhaps the only urologist in Utah who performs HoLEP surgeries to address BPH (at the time I received my HoLEP I went to Mayo Clinic at Phoenix, where Dr. Gross was trained; no one in Utah was doing HoLEPs at the time). I have received both urology and men's health services from Dr. Gross. Every time, be it be a simple cystoscopy or a men's health surgery, Dr. Gross has provided just the right amount of information, coupled with expertise, to help me make good decisions and once made, to have great outcomes. For me, having Dr. Gross as my doctor is like having three people wrapped up into one: a trusted friend, a highly skilled urologist that knows well my situation, and a superb men's health provider.

Some times Dr Gross explains things in medical terms but when I stop her and ask her what something means she is very willing to stop and take the time to explain things.
Dr Gross is very concerned for your well-being. I had a complicated situation that she dealt with on Thursday and on my return visit on Monday she mentioned that she had thought about and researched my situation over the weekend.
She did a good job. She went along with what the hospital had told me, and recommended physical therapy as the nurse had done.

I spent way too much time talking to her assistant and when she came in I felt like the responses I had given her assistant upset or frustrated her. I saw her for 2 minutes but waited 45 minutes after my appointment time to see her.

The medical providers who were on board during my visit all appeared to be very transparent with which direction I was headed in at all times and frequently asked if I had any questions or concerns throughout my appointments.
I definitely felt like Dr. Gross and her staff spent a good amount of time listening to my concerns and then fully describing and explaining all available treatment options.

I had high hopes and they were met. Dr Gross is excellent. Prostate issues, urinary system, reproductive issues, etc; she answered all my questions. She transformed me from a disconcerted, ignorant and confused about my health via another provider to confidence about my urological health and dealing it via Dr Gross' guidance.
Legitimately, my wife watched the procedure (it was a vasectomy) and apparently it was like watching a master at work. I also only felt the numbing process, which was amazing as I was really expecting it to hurt a lot.
All good but I don't know if the recommendations that were suggested for me or for the better of my health all Though they were good suggestions

I have previously seen Ariel Black who recommended that I see Dr. Kelly Gross. I know Ariel is only a PA, but I had become comfortable with her and had developed a high degree of trust. I was nervous about seeing Dr. Gross and worried what the experience would be like. I asked a lot of questions and pushed to see if Dr. Gross would respond in a way that was terse or impatient. Through it all, she was laid back and even wearing a mask I could see that she was smiling. Kelly Gross just has a kind demeanor who seems to know how to work with men, even older men, and put them at ease. She would really make a great primary care doctor if she had not decided to specialize.
