Clinical Neurosciences Center Honored

COE of Distinction Comprehensive Neuroscience 2014

NeuStrategy is recognizing University of Utah Health's Clinical Neurosciences Center (CNC) as one of America's top performing centers of excellence for neuroscience and spine care by awarding 2014 Neuroscience and Spine Center of Excellence (COE®) Designations.

As a whole the CNC has earned the highest possible distinction, a Gold Neuroscience Center of Excellence (COE). In addition it also earned specialty program Gold COE Designations in spine, neurovascular/stroke, cranial tumor, neuromodulation/functional neurosurgery and specialty neurology.

"COE Designation underscores our commitment to specialized programs with interdisciplinary clinical and research teams equipped with the very latest technologies," says Rick Shumway, administrator at the Clinical Neurosciences Center. "In the simplest terms, our gold distinction says we have created an atmosphere where clinical and research breakthroughs are possible."

As of today the CNC is one of of only three organizations across the nation to earn the distinguished Gold Neuroscience COE Designation and was listed as the survey's top performer. NeuStrategy says COEs provide the best possible outcomes in a highly efficient, cost effective care setting.
