U of U School of Medicine Welcomes Thought Leaders from Around the World
An Exchange of Ideas at the Utah Cardiac Recovery Symposium
Hosted by University of Utah School of Medicine and faculty from the Divisions of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Cardiology, cardiology professionals from around the world will gather to learn and exchange ideas with world-renowned health leaders. The symposium will revolve around issues related to myocardial recovery and regeneration.
The objective of this conference is to bring together thought leaders to exchange ideas, debate paradigms, and share information directly focused on issues related to myocardial recovery and regeneration. Last year, more than 350 attendees from all over the world participated in the symposium.
This year's international guests include Thomas Krabatsch, M.D., Ph.D., of the German Heart Institute, Andrew N. Redington, MB, BS, MRCP or the University of Toronto, and Martin Strueber, M.D., of the University Heart Center Leipzig (Germany). National thought leaders also include faculty from Harvard Medical School, Mayo Clinic, Tufts University, Johns Hopkins University and Stanford University, among others.
The symposium is sponsored by University of Utah Health Care, Intermountain Healthcare and Utah Cardiac Transplant Program.
