AirMed Is Moving on Up--To Layton!

University of Utah Health Care and Davis Hospital and Medical Center are excited to announce a new partnership and AirMed's move to Layton. Emergency responders and community members will take part in the official opening of AirMed's newest base.

Since our first flight in 1972, AirMed has grown into an award-winning program and expanded to six bases within the Intermountain West. AirMed looks forward to better serving western Utah and eastern Nevada from its new facility.The new base will be staffed with three AirMed team members and one helicopter 24/7.

The AirMed team will give helicopter rides to the media. Join us as AirMed takes the skies of Davis County.

What: Ribbon cutting ceremony of AirMed's new Davis County base, helicopter rides

When: Friday, February 20, 10:00 a.m.

Where: 1600 W Antelope Dr, Layton, UT 84041 (north side of building)

Who: AirMed crew, Davis Hospital and Medical Center staff, former patients, Layton City and County officials, and EMS members

AirMed helicopter rides: AirMed rides will be available to members of the media (weather permitting)
