(Salt Lake City)– The University of Utah's Center for Reproductive Medicine (UCRM) announced it has been named a Center of Excellence (COE) for its infertility program by health services leader, Optum. A COE designation is given to those medical practices combining top-quality clinical care with excellent patient support. COE networks provide members with access to high quality medical centers for infertility treatment that consistently delivers safe, evidenced-based care.

"We commend UCRM for its excellence in providing this level of quality in the care of patients.
The Utah Center for Reproductive Medicine aids patients with their plans to start, or add to, a family. With more than 30 years in business, the facility offers advanced technologies in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility, including in vitro fertilization (IVF). UCRM is a national leader in infertility care, with success rates that exceed the national average.
As a Center of Excellence, UCRM will undergo annual evaluations from a group of more than 100 practicing clinical experts, ensuring that standards of success are being upheld.
