CHICAGO — Gordon Crabtree, CFO for University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics has been featured in the "150 Hospital and Health System CFOS to Know" list from Becker's Hospital Review. The 2016 edition of the list features financial leaders from the country's prominent for- and nonprofit hospitals and health systems.
Crabtree, along with the other named CFOs, were recognized for their ability to help their organizations navigate the challenging changes in health care reimbursement and keep the ship afloat in a time of financial uncertainty for many.
Gordon Crabtree has served as CFO since 2002, as well time spent as interim CEO since May of 2016 and also in 2006. Before joining the University of Utah system, Crabtree was managing director of finance for the Salt Lake City Olympic Committee. He has also worked for the state of Utah in finance-oriented positions and holds an MBA from the University of Utah.
