5K Snowshoe Race Marks the Inaugural Flag Relay Event for National Donate Life Transplant Games Coming to SLC this August
Do you ever imagine yourself as a superhero? Have you said yes to organ, eye and tissue donation? Ask anyone on the transplant waiting list and they will tell you that registered donors are true superheroes. Join us at the Snowshoe Shuffle and help University of Utah Health in our sponsorship of the 2018 Donate Life Transplant Games, to be hosted in Salt Lake City in August.
The Donate Life Transplant Games are a national, multi-sport festival event produced by the Transplant Life Foundation and will be held in Salt Lake City, August 2 – 7, 2018. In anticipation of the games, a series of Flag Relay events will be held throughout the state between now and August. Come celebrate organ donation and sign the Transplant Games flag at this special kick-off flag relay event.
- What: 1K Snowshoe Race and Winter Fun
- Where: Solitude Mountain Resort's Silver Lake Loop Trail
- When: Saturday, January 20, registration opens at 8:30 am.
You can purchase tickets online or you can register at the event. Bring your snowshoes, or if you need a pair, rentals are available through Campus Rec (for University of Utah employees) or from Solitude Mountain Resort.
