This doctor would not allow us to complete our sentences. Constantly talked over us like we were nothing. Showed no concern or care for our daughters well-being. We tried expressing our concerns and were interrupted constantly by the doctor and him telling us how he was the one that would make all of the decisions. Did not explain the way behind anything but was very short with his answers. I was interrupted three times when asking about possibilities he wouldn't even listen through what I was trying to say just interrupt and stop me right there the absolute worst doctor experience I have ever had.

He is good at including me in treatment options and pays attention to how well I understand everything. When he goes over the quarterly assessment of my medical device, he takes time to explain it and will demonstrate how it's been working- senses and interrupts my seizures. You can see his eagerness when he get to see it working so well for his patient.

Blake J Newman put his head in his hands a few times, he didn't seem to care nor put much interest in the history of my seizures, auras, times, dates, lengths etc. He made me feel like I was wasting his time. This has been such a huge life changing time for me, I've never had seizures growing up and this year they started and sadly my neurologist showed very little to no interest. I'll need to find a new neurologist for me personally

We had to come back for a new setting in the same week and I've never felt so devalued before. I felt like we were an imposition and was told point blank that this was not a clinic visit and he had other "sick" patients to see. I didn't realize that we were not considered a person of needs or respect!

I already have suggested my doctor to other people. I'm always bragging about how awesome he is. The doc informs me of options and risks that go along with that. What I want to achieve out of today's meeting. I enjoy our meetings very much. I feel comfortable relaxed easy to talk to. No stress.

Wss a very quick appointment mostly for getting prescriptions renewed. Was asked if there were any changes, whether vaccinated for Covid, etc., and that was pretty much it. No problems to discuss.

I could not have been more pleased with the quality and thoroughness of my visit with Dr. Newman. The timing was _perfect_ (which suggests the arrangement of my visit was prioritized and pushed by people there, thank you), and the additional information helped me commit more confidently to the path laid out by my other providers.
