He never really talked to me my entire appointment unless I asked him questions. It was quite honestly a waste of a 2 hour drive there and back. My eyes have been hurting since August and have only been getting worse show some compassion and try to get answers for your patients.

The Moran Eye Center is the only place I would go for an eye doctor. Doctor Corey has always been up front with me concerning my eyes.

I had my eyes dilated by MD and I expressed concern for driving home. MD told me I would have no problems driving however I felt very unsafe for my 30 min commute home. I would have prefer to have safe transportation next time.

I had to ask how my daughter's eye were after her exam. He said they changed a little bit. I then had to asked how they changed, better or worse? He said a little worse. I then had to ask for exact measurements. Then asked if she qualified for contacts. Then said MD said yes. Dr. Corey should discuss his exam findings with the patient. It was bad experience since I have to ask basic information before he leaves the room. The contact fitting was not explained too me and never mentioned additional cost of it ($70) until after it was done. Financial transparency is important to me and my family.

He was fine but didn't give me much info about overall health of my eyes. Nurse said my vision had changed and had astigmatism but the doc issued the same prescription and didn't mention astigmatism. I should have asked more questions I guess but left a little confused

DR. Had some of the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. Was not friendly and did not explain anything he was doing. He acted as though it was a waste of his time to see me. I wish he would have explained more what he was doing. He also did not explain to me that there would be an extra fee for contact fittings.

He seemed a perfectly competent doctor, however I felt as a first time patient that more could have been done to make me feel comfortable in an unfamiliar setting. I was never greeted by him, I was called by the wrong name (I'm a transgender patient), and I was left feeling like I was just a patient number, not really a person, in his eyes. The visit wasn't bad or even really unpleasant, I got what I needed and went for, but I don't think I would recommend this doctor to anyone else.

I saw Craig Smith O.D for my annual eye exams for years before he retired last year. He was always prompt and he did my exams from start to finish. His bar was high so I have that to compare this experience to.
