He seemed unconcerned about the difficulty I've been having - just said that my eyes are healthy and that nothing has changed. He offered neither any solutions nor any sympathy.

Dr. Vincent was wonderful. The exam didn't take long, but I felt that he was very thorough. He explained each test and procedure to me, and answered all my questions patiently and with great care. I have already recommended him to a friend. He is a great provider and I will return to see him.

He was very kind, and did ask if I had any questions, which I did not, but it felt like he was in a hurry. It was nice to be in and out quick, but it almost felt like a rush.

My provider was stoic and non very talkative. He didn't really seem to care to build any relationship with me and just focused on checking my eyes. I don't think he did anything out of line treatment-wise but I would not recommend him solely because I felt like he did not care about me as a person, almost like he was going through the motions of seeing another patient to treat. I had to ask him what my prescription was because he didn't bother telling me what my eyes were after the exam. That's fine. I'm sure he would have said something if he had found any significant issues, but I felt like I was talking to a robot rather than a living person who cares for me. Again I stress, he did nothing wrong that needs reprimanding or anything. I just wouldn't recommend him to anyone I care about.

Dr. Vincent is easily the best provider I've seen at the Moran. Very easy to talk with, great bedside manner, and seemed to genuinely care about me as a patient. I can't say I've experienced the same with other Moran providers.

This was a follow up to my original appt. I had back in April. I was wanting to get contact lenses. I have to have the torec lenses for my astigmatism. When I got my trial pair back in April there was no discussion about what he was doing to my lenses. I was only able to wear my lenses for a couple of hours before I got a bad headache. I noticed that my vision in the left eye was not great at all. It took me all this time to be able to get back in, with the business of end of school year and my work schedule. When I sat down he knew that it was my left one that was bothering me. He had given me a far distance lense in my right eye, and then for my left he gave me one to be able to see up close. He NEVER discussed that will me. I am pretty much blind. With out glasses or lenses I pretty much can't see. Why he did that I do not know. He never really gave me a good reason why he did that. he just went on with the exam and switched my contacts to back being to what they should be. I wasn't impressed either how I had to come back. With the toric lenses they would usually check the way they sat on my eye( looking for too much movement) before sending me on my way. It took me quite awhile to find time in my schedule and the dr. before I could be seen again.

I would not recommend anyone, due to the wait time for an eye exam. And the cost of the Moran eye center. You can get better cost almost anywhere. I have been coming to the U of U center for many years for doctor visits and have been very happy. So I thought i would try the Moran eye center.
