My sister and I both use Matthew Nimer as our preferred provider. He and his entire team are amazing. They are caring, empathetic, passionate and professional. We trust them implicitly. Whenever anyone asked about our medical care we always tell them how happy we are with the care and attention we receive from Matt, his team and all of the care we get at the UofU Medical Center.

Matthew Nimer PAC is a great honest-to-heart Healthcare provider. He knows what he is doing. He listens very well and communicates well with patients like me -- as a Deaf person. I rely on an ASL interpreter. Matthew knows how to set up to ensure that the three of us are in a communication triangle well and thoroughly.

I will be happy to tell everyone about Dr. Nimer, he is always helpful and polite. Again I had a great visit and looking forward to my next visit

Dr. Nimer is an excellent provider. He is extremely thorough and easy to talk to. I never feel rushed and he¿s always sure to help with everything I need.

I personally feel that Matt Nimer doesn't really listen carefully to the patient, and I feel that he tends to med-splain things without getting a feel or idea of the patients' current understanding which wastes time as the discussions could be more efficient and getting to the root, & at times it comes across as a bit condescending. I think there is a communication barrier there with him. Additionally, I noticed that his visits are more discussion than checking your symptoms or doing an exam or physical evaluation. I feel a bit frustrated most times after seeing him, like I didn't get my medical needs taken care of or like I'm not being taken seriously or that he truly cares about helping me out.

I chose a virtual medical follow-up from an ER visit. It was much easier to have Matthew Nimer read the my chart reports from his office and go over each test result from the MRI and CT Scans. He is always very busy when I have used the virtual appt. He always is kind and answers my questions when we visit. Some referrals were suggested. Prompt follow-up to get those appts was easy. Thank you!

In addition to being a compassionate hc provider, Dr. Nimer is also very much up on the latest tech. The AI notes were charted within seconds of concluding the appointment.

Dr. Nimer is a good listener and treated my symptoms. I am feeling much better after a few days of rest and taking the proper medication.

He looks at me and engages in conversation instead of looking at and typing on the computer; he never hurries the visit. I drive 45 minutes past 2 U of U clinics to see him. It's worth the drive.
