John B. Fulton, Ph.D., ABPP/CN is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Fulton completed a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Brigham Young University, where he completed specialty training tracks in both Clinical Neuropsychology and Child, Adolescent, and Family Psychology. Dr. Fulton completed a pre-doctoral internship at Primary Children’s Medical Center within the Pediatric Neuropsychology/Medical Psychology track. Following internship he completed a 2 year post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Ohio State University. Following fellowship, Dr. Fulton provided clinical services in Phoenix Arizona, initially at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and later at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. While at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Dr. Fulton founded and directed the hospital’s postdoctoral training program in pediatric neuropsychology. Dr. Fulton is currently affiliated with the Pediatric Behavioral Health Clinic at Primary Children’s Hospital. Dr. Fulton is board certified in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology. His clinical services primarily consist of neuropsychological evaluations of children and adolescents, as well as consultation with their families and medical providers. Particular areas of clinical interest include assessment of pediatric patients with acquired brain injuries (e.g. traumatic brain injury, stroke, meningitis, etc.), as well as other medical conditions that can affect cognitive functioning (e.g. epilepsy, brain tumor, congenital malformations, etc.).
