Visit was via phone. Felt I got better attention due to nature of this being a 1st visit & not being face-to-face he had to concentrate more on questions/responses than relying on visual cues. Unlike other Drs. Perhaps this is just his nature anyway.

not a bad comment, but I had a little trouble keeping up with the doctor because I was not processing his words as fast as he was speaking them. this is common with me and I felt uncomfortable to tell him that because I know he is busy and didn't want to continually asking him to repeat himself.

I was concerned about the Doctor not having a function testing result before the office visit. The conclusions were not what I expected regarding the "mild" COPD note but I have every confidence in Dr. Boltax being an excellent specialist.

DR BOLTAX WAS FRIENDLY CONCERNED AND VERY COMPETENT PROVIDED COMMON SENSE ANSWERS TO MY PROBLEMS

UofU Patient July 13, 2018
UH HOSPITALS AND CLINICS

This doctor was a breath of fresh air! I have had a couple of less than good experiences with a doctor at the U that goes straight for the worst case scenario instead of looking for a logical cause and effect, for my symptoms. I understand that that doctor was probably doing what he thought was right but I end up paying for all the negative results to unnecessary testing and the emotional worry that comes with scary diagnoses. This doctor was straight to the point. He reassured me that my CT scan reports were not MAI or anything serious to be concerned about and most likely due to my chronic sinus infections. Whew!

Doctor and staff spent more time with me than I expected. Very precise and explained well. I was impressed.

UofU Patient June 30, 2018

Dr. Boltax has followed me on this for several years. I hope he can continue to help me.

UofU Patient June 15, 2018

UofU Patient June 09, 2018

Dr Boltax and the clinic rescheduled my appointment to accommodate my needs. I am clear in my next steps for monitoring my care in the future. Thanks for everything as I leave Utah for Minnesota! It was a pleasure working with you and the clinic staff at Huntsman and Pulmonology. Be well! Take care if yourselves and keep up the great work and care of your patients.

UofU Patient May 18, 2018

Was very patient without making me feel hurried.

UofU Patient May 08, 2018

Dr Boltax was very kind in his bedside manner. He took the time with me making sure I understood why he was doing what he was doing. He took time to talk about my personal life and seemed to take interest, not only in the medical problem I was in his office for.

UofU Patient March 18, 2018

great experience.

UofU Patient March 07, 2018

Dr. Boltax was great. He was very thorough. He took my symptoms very serious. He explained what I was most likely dealing with very clearly. He made and communicated a plan for follow up.

UofU Patient September 27, 2017

UofU Patient June 30, 2017

I have seen Dr. Boltax for many years and he is very understanding of my problem. Unfortunately because of an insurance change I have to change providers and he was very understanding and gave me a referral. It will be very hard to change physicians at this point.

UofU Patient October 27, 2016

Dr. Boltax is the best!

UofU Patient September 22, 2016

great

UofU Patient July 31, 2016

The staff seems very genuinely concerned. The communication between departments is amazing

UofU Patient July 28, 2016

Dr. Boltax did not make me feel like I was being rushed through, he let me ask all the questions I had, made sure I understood what he was explaining, went over my test results and made sure I understood the follow up tests needed.

UofU Patient September 03, 2013

Felt like a lot of what was told me went right over my head. Headed home without a clear understanding of what to expect next week.

UofU Patient August 07, 2013

It could not be determined what the cause of the mass in my lung was. A follow-up appointment was made and a larger biopsy will be taken tomorrow, August 7.

UofU Patient July 01, 2013

My life is important to me and I wouldn't want anyone else to take care of my health but Huntsman!

UofU Patient June 26, 2013

very good

UofU Patient April 27, 2013

Very compassionate. Spoke without lecturing, but made it very clear what my options and outcome would be.

UofU Patient April 22, 2013

UofU Patient October 26, 2012

UofU Patient October 10, 2012

Nothing negative

UofU Patient March 20, 2012

Would be more willing to recommend if the doctor would have kept his word about calling meu "as soon as I get the results".

UofU Patient February 07, 2012

I'm fortunate to have such access to top notch care

UofU Patient January 10, 2012

I feel I'm in good hands.

UofU Patient January 06, 2012

Dr. Boltax is one of those rare professionals that has personality and as I conveyed, great bedside manner. I "really" liked this doctor and feel secure in his competence.
