  • Dr. Brigham Smith is an Interventional Cardiologist with expertise and training focused primarily in invasive hemodynamics and intracoronary diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Clinical interests and responsibilities include invasive management of acute heart attacks, invasive evaluation and management of heart failure, invasive assessment of valvular heart disease, coronary stent implantation/balloon angioplasty (percutaneous coronary intervention - PCI). Special clinical areas of focus include using the radial artery approach for cardiac catheterization and complex coronary interventions, including the use of intracoronary imaging techniques (IVUS and OCT) along with chronic total occlusion (CTO) interventions.     DR. Smith was really good to meet with. This was my first visit with him and I can see why I was referred to him. Clear directions and concise instructions and i do look forward to being able to establish a long term doctor, patient relationship. He was very observant paid attention to my replies and listened as doctors should do. I will recommend him.

    Dr. B.R. Smith took the time to explained the angiogram and the condition of my heart. He is caring and kind. Dr. Smith took Dr. Cheong's place because she was ill. He used the his time for a patient rather than taking a break. He is dedicated and appreciated.
