Alexander Gouttsoul, PA-C, is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant at the University of Utah Medical Center in inpatient, outpatient, and outreach services in Cardiology, Electrophysiology with additional interests in Congestive Heart Failure and international health. Alexander received his undergraduate degree in Health Promotion And Education (EMS Management) from the University of Utah and worked as a paramedic with Gold Cross Ambulance for 10 years prior to receiving his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from University of Utah Physician Assistant Program in 2010. Alexander had an opportunity to receive broad clinical experience in Salt Lake City and internationally in infectious diseases at the Toma Ciorba Infectious Diseases Hospital, HIV Clinic, and Pediatric Infectious Diseases Hospital, Kishinev, Moldova. His initial work as a Physician Assistant started with a rewarding experience at the Jordan Ridge Family Practice, Murray Pediatrics Clinic, and volunteer service at the Maliheh Free Clinic, where he was privileged to be part of a multicultural team providing primary care for underserved population in a multilingual environment. Alexander is currently licensed to practice in Utah and Wyoming, is fluent in the Russian language and speaks basic conversational Romanian.
