He showed a genuine interest on my health. Her took the time to confirm my information and to explain me what will be best for me. He reponded within a reasonable time to my message.

I believe he listened and gave his professional opinion and listened to my problem. After doing so he put both my opinion plus what his was together then and only then did he suggest the solution. He was not like so many other doctors and believed because he had been to medical school he didn't pay attention to his patient describe his problem. (most times the patient really knows his own body better than the care giver and ALL his knowledge.)

First thing he did was ask my pronouns! I loved that and he correctly used them! I felt very safe with him!

Dr. Smith is clearly an inexperienced and immature doctor.. I hope he grows professionally and personally in his abilities to receive constructive feedback without getting aggressively defensive. He is a care giver and his patients pay his salary - perhaps he will remember that next time he decides to place blame on his patient for miscommunication and misunderstanding that could easily have been remedied with a 5min phone call. I am a cancer survivor, I have received close patient care for over 10yrs from multiple hospitals and clinics. Dr Smith should grow up a bit, listen to his patients more closely, and look inward for solutions rather than placing blame on his patients who simply want to be heard and cared for. I pray he will grow from this.
