Dr. Patricia Vitale is board certified in dermatology and dermatopathology. Although her current practice is dedicated to dermatopathology, her clinical background in general dermatology proves invaluable when faced with diagnosing challenging biopsies of inflammatory, infectious, melanocytic, and neoplastic diseases of the skin and mucosa. She is a co-author of the series, Clues To Diagnosis in Dermatopathology, with her mentor, the late Dr. A.B. Ackerman, with whom she shares a passion for teaching and training the next generation of dermatopathologists.
