Allyson was great. Her reassurance that I wasn't crazy was so helpful. She got me pointed in the direction of some help and hopefully with time my body and brain will recover. She is amazing!

I always leave her appointments feeling involved in the decision making part of my care. It's fantastic to be included in my care.

She was the first person who really listened to me about my Covid longhaul issues. She gave me new information that no one else had given me. I can't express the relief I felt at being listened to and taken seriously.

During our appointment there were a few things said that I found inappropriate. She said something like, "Oh, so it's only an increase in your preexisting condition." 'Only'? What on earth gives anyone the right to describe someone conditions being excelarrated by decades as 'only'? At another point, after being informed that she understood what I meant by, "Praying the last prayer." She used the words 'dull' to describe my pain. If it hurts so badly that I'm praying with God to take the pain or take my life, it is not dull. A Christian asking thier Maker to end their life has monumental significance. When I had expressed concern about the costs of traveling to so many appointments I was told about how that's a common thing and other patients are traveling farther and have things so much worse. How bad does it have to be before clinicians consider that cost is a factor? Please, take these factors into consideration before interacting with future patients.
