February 14, 2024HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERI feel I am getting very good care from Dr. Mei Wei! She was very in tune to my thoughts, needs, questions. She is kind, caring, smart and has a good sense of humor as well.
February 12, 2024SUGAR HOUSE HEALTH CENTERShe is very good. Doctor cares about all of her patients and takes the time to make sure that their needs are met.
February 10, 2024HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr Wei is a wonderful advocate for her patients. I feel confident in her and her plan for me. She allows me to feel included in the decisions. She understands what having a good quality of life means to me. I cannot say enough about how supported I feel.
January 31, 2024HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERShe was thorough and took great care in her decisions
January 29, 2024HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERThe oncologist was running an hour behind. Due to this the following occurred: 1 The visit was rushed and explanations were not thoroughly given. Two nurses had to come in after to help clarify things (The nurses were AMAZING and very patient!) 2 Rather than leaving to let the me change, and then coming back, I was asked to remove clothing directly in front of the oncologist without any privacy. This is the first time in any exam I've ever had that this happened (where a doctor did not leave and come back after I had undressed). I understand the time crunch, but it's important that a patient feels respected. 3 When I expressed to the oncologist that all treatments at the time sounded scary (it's cancer), she responded with a nervous giggle. While I do not think it was intended to offend, it certainly is not how a first time cancer patient would like to be treated when expressing anxiety. I'm requesting a different oncologist who is able to take the time needed with their patients.
January 22, 2024SUGAR HOUSE HEALTH CENTERDr. Wei is amazingly knowledgeable and compassionate, and we discuss and come to agreement about plans for my care.
January 15, 2024SUGAR HOUSE HEALTH CENTERI would highly recommend Dr. Wei for cancer treatment.
