- Stephanie Spanos, MD (2019). Pediatric Office Emergencies In-Office Preparation Curriculum: Office Algorithm Resource. This book was developed for pediatric offices to provide quick reference algorithms for ventricular fibrillation (VF), ventricular tachycardia with and without a pulse (VT), supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), bradycardia, asystole, pulseless electrical activity (PEA), septic shock, seizure, hypovolemia, hypoglycemia, anaphylaxis, assessment of respiratory distress, and appropriate use of the automated external defibrillator (AED), normal saline (NS) boluses, and supplemental oxygen techniques. Most resources available are hospital based, so this book was developed specifically for the offices to guide them on how to manage pediatric office emergencies and resuscitation priorities. .
- Stephanie Spanos, MD (2018). Pediatric Office Emergencies In-Office Preparation Curriculum: Office Medication Resource. This book was developed for the pediatric offices and is a weight-based office specific medication resource book including information on indication, available concentrations, doses in mg/kg, mg, and ml, route, and notes for administration. This allows office pediatricians to quickly reference their office medication supply and provide them with precalculated dosing for more efficient patient interventions and less error during resuscitations. .

"Hablemos de Bronquiolitis": Bronchiolitis VIDEO project: Video-based education Implemented at the time of Discharge to improve patient Experience and Outcomes/systems Operations; spanish version. Family and caregiver education on bronchiolitis disease process and care. In addition to talking with families and caregivers, and providing written handouts, evidence shows that including video-based teaching, especially for those families with lower health literacy and language barriers, can improve understanding and care of the patient. Bronchiolitis is one of the most common pediatric diagnoses seen in clinics, urgent cares, emergency departments and hospitalized patients. The majority of care revolves around educating caregivers of warning signs and symptoms and what to do for supportive care of the child. The goals were to improve patient/parent experience, education and knowledge, increase satisfaction, and expand understanding of their child’s disease. Additionally, we wanted to standardize caregiver education so that every family received the same, evidence-based education on bronchiolitis management, no matter where they were in the system (clinic, ED, other Intermountain facility, etc).
