Dr. Truong received her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, completed her Pediatrics residency at Connecticut Children´s Medical Center/University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and her Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at Primary Children’s Hospital/University of Utah, and a fourth year fellowship in Echocardiography with a focus on 3-dimensional echocardiography at Stollery Children’s Hospital/University of Alberta. Dr. Truong is board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah and is in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Primary Children´s Hospital. She sees patients with all types of congenital and acquired heart disease, with a clinical and research interest in patients who have Kawasaki disease, or who have undergone single ventricle palliation. Her other clinical and research interests are in 2D and 3D echocardiography in surgical planning.
