Bio

Meredith “Ditty” Bannon, MPAS, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital Intensive Care Unit. As a Physician Assistant working in Oncologic Critical Care, her clinical interests include pulmonary physiology, post surgical care for the Oncology patient, and the psychosocial aspects of critical care.

Ditty Bannon received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Colorado in 2009. She worked at Denver Health Hospital providing inpatient Internal Medicine as a part of their Hospitalist group for two years following graduation. She received additional training in Critical Care and Oncology after completing an ICU/Oncology Fellowship at the University of Utah in 2011. In the past, Ditty has served as a member of the Colorado Association of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is currently a member of the Utah Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology, and functions as the lead Advanced Practice Provider at the Huntsman ICU.

Academic Bio

Meredith “Ditty” Bannon, MPAS, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital Intensive Care unit. As an Advanced Practive provider in Oncologic critical care, her research interests include the psychosocial aspects of critical care, and oncology specific critical care issues.

Ditty Bannon received her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Colorado. She received additional critical care and oncology training from the University of Utah ICU/Oncology Fellowship. She is currently on the admission committee for the University of Colorado Physician Assistant Program, and precepts Physician Assistant Students from the University of Utah Physician Assistant Program. She is currently working towards becoming an Adjunct Volunteer Faculty member with the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine Physician Assistant Program.
