  • Kaitlyn H. Pelletier is a certified Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. She is the nurse practitioner in the newly developed Geriatric Oncology clinic also known as the Geriatric Oncology Assessment and pLan (GOAL) Clinic, as well as a nurse practitioner in Medical Oncology at South Jordan Health Center. Her clinical interests include working with oncology and geriatric patients in a comprehensive manner, focusing on the person as a whole and their health in its entirety.

    Mrs. Pelletier received her RN, BSN degree from Louisiana State University in 2012. She then received her MSN, AGNP from Boise State University in 2019. She served as an RN for eight years with University of Utah and Huntsman Cancer Institute with experience in medical-surgical, intensive care, and oncology infusion nursing. While attending graduate school, she organized and worked closely with the interdisciplinary team credited with implementing the Geriatric Oncology service at Huntsman Cancer Institute.

    Mrs. Pelletier is certified through ANCC. Her professional memberships include AANP, ONS, and SIOG.

    She was aware and up to date on my health care, and she explained clearly what she recommended and then asked what I would like to do and how I felt about the suggestions. She wanted to do what I was comfortable with and also explained that she would consult Dr. Nevela on those decisions to get his recommendation.

    See previous comments regarding both her and Emily Erickson, Dr. Vaklavas' APRN who referred me to Kaitlyn. Never let either of these ladies leave for better offers elsewhere. They are way to much of an asset to U of U/Huntsman.
