Brian A. Breviu, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Rheumatology, Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah. He serves as the Director of Clinical Affairs and the Medical Director for the division of Rheumatology. He is a general clinical rheumatologist who sees patients with all forms of rheumatic disease, with particular interests in psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and antiphospholipid syndrome.
He received a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN and his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School, Minneapolis, MN. He completed his internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Breviu joined the the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2018.

It is a 4-hour drive each way to get to the clinic, so I really won't recommend it to many of my neighbors. It's just too far to drive unless you REALLY need a specialist. As for treatment, well, I really haven't received any specific instructions since last fall. We're in a mode of testing and waiting. I certainly do WISH we had a treatment, though! It's exhausting to have so many tests and so few answers.
