Dr. Drapkin graduated with honors from the Alpert Medical School at Brown University in 2013. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Utah where he served as Chief Resident. After residency, Dr. Drapkin completed his fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Utah. He joined the faculty at the University of Utah in 2018 and is board certified in Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Drapkin is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine where he is a practicing Pediatric Emergency Physician at Primary Children’s Hospital. He is also currently the Associate Fellowship Director for the Pediatric Emergency Medicine 3-year ACGME Fellowship. In addition to caring for children with a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions, he oversees Pediatric, Emergency Medicine, and Family Medicine Residents in the Emergency Department. His interests include medical education and the treatment of pediatric patients in general emergency departments.
