Scott Holmstrom, MD, is an Assistant Professor within the Division of General Internal Medicine and the Department of Internal Medicine at the University Hospital. As a Hospitalist, his clinical interests include caring for acutely ill hospitalized patients with complex medical problems, quality improvement, thrombosis, and educating medical students and residents.

Dr. Holmstrom received his MD from University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He received training in Internal Medicine from the University of Utah where he also served as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Holmstrom is board certified in Internal Medicine.
