  • Dr. Andrew Gawron is an Associate Professor at the University of Utah and VA Medical Center. His clinical interests include treating patients with esophageal disease (gastroesophageal reflux disease, motility disorders such as achalasia, and eosinophilic esophagitis). He performs colonoscopy, upper endoscopy and interprets esophageal motility and pH studies.


    Dr. Gawron completed his medical degree, internal medicine residency, and gastroenterology fellowship as chief fellow at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. He received additional experience in diagnosing and treating esophageal disorders at Northwestern University where he served as a Clinical Instructor.
    Dr. Gawron is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the International Society for Diseases of the Esophagus.
