  • Dr. Whitnee Hogan is a member of the division of pediatric cardiology at the University of Utah. She has advanced training in pediatric, transesophageal, and fetal echocardiography. She is the Associate Director of the Fetal Heart Program and Co-director of the Heart Center Neurodevelopmental Program (HCNP). She sees patients with all forms of congenital heart disease from infancy through late adolescence. Her research interests include improving the detection of congenital heart disease, both before and after birth. Additionally, she has an interest in improving the quality of life of those with congenital heart disease through improving neurodevelopmental outcomes.

    Dr. Hogan received her medical degree from Saint Louis University and completed her pediatric residency at Oregon Health and Sciences University. She then completed her pediatric cardiology fellowship here at the University of Utah, followed by an advanced echocardiography and fetal cardiology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.
