Corinne R. Espinoza, PhD

  • Dr. Corinne Espinoza received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Brigham Young University and completed her internship in Health Services Psychology at Boston Children’s Hospital through Harvard Medical School. Subsequently, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at Primary Children’s Hospital. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics on the clinical track in the Department of Pediatric Psychiatry and Behavioral Health.

    Dr. Espinoza has specific interest and experience in behavioral health treatments for youth with autonomic dysfunction, including Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), persistent pain, and post-viral conditions. In addition, Dr. Espinoza provides collaborative care to young people with a wide spectrum of medical, psychological, and identity-based needs within Adolescent Medicine. Dr. Espinoza’s research interests include examining predictors of positive outcomes in youth with chronic illness symptoms. Dr. Espinoza has specific experience and training in working with individuals and families of diverse backgrounds and offers services in both Spanish and English. She is trained in a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, behavior therapy, biofeedback, and mindfulness with a focus on improving functional outcomes, pain and chronic symptom management, and supporting adolescent development.
